Thank you for choosing Kainuwa Digital Africa Ltd. We’re committed to delivering high-quality digital skills and products. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains when you may be eligible for a refund and how refunds are handled.


1. Scope

This policy applies to purchases made on Kainuwa Digital Africa’s learning platform, including digital courses, course bundles, B2B (organization) subscriptions, physical and digital store products, and instructor promotion packages.


2. Digital Courses (Individual & Bundles)

  • We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase.

  • You are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of the initial purchase unless you have accessed or completed more than 20% of the course content.

  • Enrollments created using a 100% off coupon are considered free and are not eligible for monetary refunds.


3. Organization (B2B) Subscriptions

  • New subscriptions: Full refunds are available within 48 hours of the initial purchase provided no members have been invited or enrolled in the organization.

  • Renewals & cancellations: Organization subscriptions bill on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly). You may cancel at any time via the organization dashboard. Cancellation ends future billing but does not prorate or refund the current billing period.

  • You retain access to organization features until the end of the paid billing period.


4. E-Commerce Products

  • Physical products: Return within 14 days of delivery in original, unused, undamaged condition. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed.

  • Digital products (e.g., eBooks, project files): Once a download has been initiated, digital products are non-refundable due to instant delivery.


5. Instructor Promotion Packages

  • Payments for instructor Featured Course promotions are non-refundable once the promotion period has begun and the course is actively featured.

  • Full refunds may be requested before the promotion start date by contacting support; such refunds are granted at our discretion.


6. How Refunds Are Processed

To request a refund, contact support and include your Order ID (e.g., KNW-ORD-000123) and reason for request.

  • Processing timeframe: We review refund requests and respond within 5–10 business days. If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days from approval; actual credit timing depends on the payment provider.

  • KNW Coin purchases: If the original purchase was made with KNW Coin, refunds will be issued in KNW Coin back to the purchaser’s platform wallet.


7. Non-Refundable Items

Refunds are not available for:

  • Purchases of KNW Coins (virtual currency not redeemable for cash).

  • Digital products after download.

  • Gifted courses that have already been claimed.

  • Subscription fees for billing periods already used.

  • Purchases where the user has been suspended or banned for violating our Terms of Service.

  • Discounted or clearance purchases that are explicitly marked final sale.


8. Policy Abuse

We reserve the right to deny refunds if we detect abuse patterns, including but not limited to:

  • Repeatedly refunding courses after consuming content.

  • Requesting refunds for the same course multiple times.

  • Abnormal refund activity across multiple accounts tied to the same person or payment method.


9. Exceptional Circumstances

In exceptional cases (verified fraud, duplicate charges, or regulatory reasons), we may grant refunds outside the standard policy at our discretion.
